I received an e-mail from L'Occitane En Provence earlier this week to go pick up their famous Shea Butter Mini Hand Cream so, on thursday, after my only class of the day, I went in store to pick up this freebie valued at 12$ along with other free samples! And while I was at the mall, I went in Jacob and pick up two cute bracelets on sale for 9,99$ each!

Yesterday

Not long ago, Maybelline was launching its new line: the Color Tattoo 24h creme eyeshadows. And if you follow beauty gurus on YouTube, you know that this product is wayy overhyped. So I decided to try it out since it was on sale (scoree!!). I was hesitating between Pomegranate Pink and Audacious Asphalt but finally went with Audacious Asphalt, the grey pewty color. The texture and the consistency are nice and the lasting power is great (even without my UDPP and my oily eyelids -IN-CRE-DI-BLE-)! So far, so good. And while I was at it, I picked up the Revlon 791 Midnight Affair nail polish because it was only 2,99$!

My Month in Pictures

Hi there!! I know, it's been a while and I've been MIA this entire month! Please forgive me for the lack of posting. Nonetheless, I've gathered pictures here and there from my busy month of July! Let's start, shall we?

The Rachid Badouri & Friends Show

Yes, I was in the crowd and yes, it was hot, hot, even suffocating! BUT, the show was really entertaining and humorous! Charly Pop: the beatbox-er, Eddy King: a humorist and Comte de Bouderbala: a French humorist were also present!



Montreal International Dragon Boat Race Festival



I volunteered during the week-end of the festival which was held on July 22 to July 24 and let me tell ya, it was great! Though the first day was especially chaotic and disorganized + the fact I didn't know how to help out during the event, the next day, we all figured it out and all went smoothly to my eyes! I was settled in the Loading dock area and it was fun to meet others including participating teams and volunteers! And on the final day, I was posted in the Registration Tent! I was freezing with the wind blowing so hard in this area while others were sweating! Brrr!





Shopping Time!

On this week, my mom had three days off and we decided to go shop! First off, we went to Fairview Pointe-Claire by metro/bus and it was really fun since we hardly go there by public transportation. We also ended up in Pierrefonds...yeah. The second day, we went to DIMSUM in Chinatown! nomnomnom And on Wednesday, we went to Place Vertu where we obviously went crazy on shoes at Browns Outlet!

Those shoes were 70% off (additional)...Crazy right?



On Thursday, I totally splurged on (finally) my life changing eyelash curler: the Shu Uemura brand! Makes my lashes so curly!! LOVE LOVE LOVE Also, lately I've been obsessing over tank tops and workout attire! The grey shorts were picked up at The GAP for 10$ thanks to my friend's: Flo, bionic eyes after our last day volunteering for Dragon Boat! Lovin' them! :D
